Canada's population is getting older

As of July 1, 2009 the median age of the Canadian population was 39.5 years while in United States in 35.3 years, according to the United nations World Population Prospects document http://esa.un.org/UNPP/p2k0data.asp in this part of the continent the population is ageing.

Why this is happening, it is because the desire to achieve more at work or school or just simply because people want to enjoy more of their freedom with out kids.

I have seen a lot of couples with small kids and sometimes I ask myself the question "are those the Parents or the Grand-Parents".
